Thomas S. Wootton High School
We had the pleasure of working with the environmental club at Thomas Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland to bring attention to the issue of growing your own food in an urban setting. The on-site garden is used as an educational tool to teach students about soil microbiology and aerobic composting, and the food grown by the students is donated to a nearby homeless shelter.
